Busy 3 hours on Friday Night
JANUARY 20
- Typical day for a firefighter
28/32 had a busy 3 hours on Friday night. Before the crew of 32 could decide on where to go eat they were dispatched for a mutual aid alarm at 18:17. 32-4 responding to a multi-resident fire in (3,6,12) Christiana Fire Co. district at Apple Chase Apartments. Commercial Structure Fire -- Carman Lincoln
JANUARY 18
- On the above date units were dispatched to the Carman Ford Body Shop for a fire reported inside. 28-8C (Wray) arrived with nothing evident from the delta side and assumed command. R/E 28-6 arrived on the delta side and the crew investigated. Engine 32-5 arrived and stood by the hydrant. Ladder 12 set up on the bravo side and went to the roof to check the vent system. Two alarm fire with Christiana
JANUARY 04
- At 0937 hrs Engine 32 w/crew of 6 was dispatched for the R.I.T assignment on an aprtment fire. First unit on scene report fire showing. Apon arrival of 325 the crew located an area to set up. Advised command they were standing by. Rescue engine 28 responded on the road with a crew of 4. The crew of engine 28 was tasked in placing handlines in service on the rear of the main fire building. Ladder assist Christiana on a mobile home fire
JANUARY 03
- On Monday at 13:25 hrs. Ladder 28 and Engine 32 was dispatched to assist on a mobile home fire. While enroute Command 12 arrived and reported fire showing from the structure. Ladder 28 arrived and set up for R.I.T. duties. Mutiple handlines were placed in service to extinguish the fire. Wilmington Manor units stood by until being released by command.
