Members attend training at B&F Towing

- For this weeks training, members attended a demo set up by our local tow yard, B&F Towing. Members were able to see what equipment was available to them in the event it is needed to perform a rescue. A few sceneros were discussed with the tow operators and crews were given a first hand look at the services this equipment and operators can provide. Tractor Trailer Fire
MAY 15
- On Tuesday May 15, units were dispatched to the area of Dupont Highway and Firewood Lane for a truck fire. 32-9A (Heller) arrived and reported a tractor fully involved with the brush starting to go also. Engine 28-5 arrived and placed (2) 1 3/4 lines in service and established a supply from a nearby hydrant. Busy Friday night in Wilmington Manor
MAY 11
- On Friday evening units were dispatched to the area of South DuPont Highway and Federal School Lane for a motor vehicle accident with a rollover. Engine 32 arrived and confirmed one vehicle on it's side with no injuries. Command placed the incident under control and returned all units. Motor Vehicle Accident with heavy entrapment

- On May 5th at 21:51 Wilmington Manor units were dispatched to the area of 194 S. DuPont Highway for a motor vehicle accident with rollover. As units began responding additional information was given that people were trapped and that the vehicle was on fire. With this information Station 18 (Goodwill) was added to the call for Rescue 18. Full Scale Exercise at the New Castle County Airport
APRIL 30
- On April 27th, crews from Wilmington Manor and surrounding mutual aid participated in a full scale exercise held at the New Castle County Airport. At 09:00 units were dispatched to the airport for a aircraft emergency. Delaware Air National Guard (33) arrived and advised a larger commercial passenger aircraft had crashed with mutiple patients.
